We’re looking for a Resilient IT Infrastructures Admin and a Technical Project Manager to join our Tech Team. Given our unique approach to technology, individuals with vastly different skill sets and experience could be great candidates for these roles – we are looking for folks from a variety of backgrounds, experiences and education. We highly encourage individuals from Latin America and Africa to apply.
- The Resilient IT Infrastructures Administrator will lead the development and maintenance of our organisation’s technical infrastructure and systems. You would make sure our technology enhances our work with partners and our collaboration with fellow colleagues. Your work, like the decisions we make about the technology we use, would be informed by social justice-focused values and politics. You’ll also have a responsibility to be responsive to changing geopolitical contexts (particularly given our team’s global nature) and take into consideration the need for ecological sustainability.
- The Technical Project Manager will design and implement technical projects that involve significant data, technology and/or design components. You will manage technical support projects and relationships with partners. Depending on our organisational needs, you will also work across the organisation to support other teams as they work on projects including intensive long-term partnerships and light-weight forms of partner support.
Both of these roles, and our broader technology strategy, are guided by the need to foster enjoyable experiences with technology that are human-centered and accessible across a diversity of socio-political contexts, local infrastructure and resources, abilities, ages and languages.
