ASSOCIATE, COMMUNICATIONS
Sisanda is a storyteller and media practitioner with experience across journalism and digital media. She’s worked in print, broadcast, and online spaces, using storytelling as a tool to inform, inspire and drive change. Before joining us, she was a Programme Manager at Code for Africa, supporting digital democracy and tech-for-good initiatives across Africa. She’s also worked as a content editor and social innovation facilitator at Further Impact, where she helped entrepreneurs communicate their impact more effectively. Sisanda is an alum of the Menell Media and Democracy Fellowship at Duke University, and continues to be driven by the belief that stories can shift narratives and strengthen communities.
Sisanda leads the development and implementation of The Engine Room’s communication strategy to reach partners, networks, funders and other thought leaders.
