Narrira Lemos de Souza

ASSOCIATE, ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORT

Narrira works at the intersection of technology and society, with a strong focus on community building and reclaiming tech through feminist lens. She is interested in collaborative approaches to sharing and building knowledge, particularly around digital rights and holistic security. As co-founder of Tech for Forests, she explored how digital infrastructure can support efforts to combat climate change. Before joining The Engine Room, Narrira was a project coordinator at the Association for Progressive Communication and user research coordinator at The Tor Project. In the past, she was also a fellow with the Bertha Foundation, Mozilla Foundation, and Google. In her free time, she enjoys biking with her family, reading, and spending time in nature.

Narrira focuses on engagement and support, helping build meaningful partnerships and community-centered approaches to digital rights and technology.
