ASSOCIATE, COMMUNICATIONS
Sisanda is a storyteller and media practitioner with experience across journalism and digital media. She has worked in print, broadcast, and online spaces, using storytelling as a tool to inform, inspire and drive change. Prior to joining The Engine Room, she was a program manager at Code for Africa, supporting digital democracy and tech-for-good initiatives across Africa. She has also worked as a content editor and social innovation facilitator at Further Impact. Sisanda is an alumna of the Menell Media and Democracy Fellowship at Duke University, and is driven by the belief that stories can shift narratives and strengthen communities.
Sisanda leads communication strategy and initiatives at the community, partner and organization level.
